Statistics show that adolescents who pledge to stay abstinent are 75% less likely to have had sex than those adolescents who do not make such a pledge. [JAMA 1997; 278: 823-832] The Scott & White Worth the Wait® pledge card is available to support teens in their efforts to remain abstinent. The purpose of the wallet-sized card is to validate a teen's pledge of virginity or a renewed pledge of abstinence.
